UNTIDY MIND, the third studio album, is a musical and mental journey through a mind full of dwelling thoughts, somehow untidy, and sensory perception in a hasty manner during a time period when the earth undergoes sustainable changes. Relating to a time when living arrangements are shaped by the laws of the earth's motion, there is now a phase when the subconscious mind applies methods to determine the unknown meaning of conscious existence. Musically trying to merge quite contrary worlds, it is oriented on a style of minimalistic composition characterized by simple harmonies with long, articulating chordal ranges.

Released Feb 1, 2023.

Born and working - beside a demanding daytime job - in Vienna as an amateur musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, I have always been thrilled and impressed by music.

A wide range of early musical influences such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, AC/DC but also David Bowie and Jean-Michel Jarré shaped my musical ear and build my desire to play an instrument myself. In later years, my fifties - maybe the better years musically - the British psychedelic era of progressive rock music by Pink Floyd and the lyricism and the warmth of sound produced by the Flügelhorn of Art Farmer put two quite contrary musical stamps on me.

Playing different instruments, but acoustic and electric guitar being my main tools for musical expression, occasionally my own music is produced in my homestudio, GravisCat Music.
